It was a wet old day and although the women played some superb rugby, it was the hugely experienced home side who ran out 22-7 winners. Portadown’s Holly Bothwell picked up the Player of the match award, the formidable hooker was the standout performer on the day.
Portadown College faced formidable opponents when they travelled to play BRA in the schools cup. Indeed the Belfast side proved too much running out a 60 point to 7 victory.
