In trouble with Arnie.
Behind this great photo is an even better story.
Brendy Galbraith far left and Terry Hamill were on a school ski trip with Lismore to Austria.
The lads had been a bit naughty, and were caught with some prohibited beverages, in the room of girls from another school, from England.
As a result, the punishment was, they were barred from skiing for two days, rough justice!
The bold Brendy and Terry took themselves into the village, and spotted Arnie in a cafe.
Instead of rushing him, the suave lurganites asked that mr swartzenegger Be sent over “whatever he was drinking”
Arnie accepted, asked for a pierier water, and called the lads over.
They spent a good yarn with Arnie, one can only imagine that he was loving the tale of woe about the two little Irish rogues getting barred from skiing.
It gets better, Arnie had to go and the lads where gutted.
No one will believe we met you they said.
Arnie said, no problem I will meet you here tomorrow.
And he did..
They brought a friend who owned a camera.
No selfies in those days.
Lads are still waiting on you buying the drink back Arnie, and ye don’t wanna not buy yer round in Lurgan, people will accuse ye of being a Portadown man.
